Strictly Come Dancing professional Neil Jones revealed he would be undergoing major “changes” before he reunites with his co-stars for the highly anticipated tour.

Taking to TikTok, the 42-year-old opened up about wanting fans to “keep him accountable,” ahead of his life-changing health kick.

Neil reflected on his fluctuating weight and was adamant he didn’t want to gain pounds after being left shocked by the results of his 2023 Strictly photoshoot.

Addressing his followers, the choreographer shared: “This year, I’m going to be making huge, massive changes in my life and I’m going to explain to you why.

“Every year on Strictly we do our new profile pictures … most of the years I’ve loved the pictures we’ve taken.”

He explained: “We wear different things, I tend to go with similar clothes of either a latin look or a ballroom look.

“Not last year but two years ago I had a picture taken, and when we finished we have a quick look at the picture, ‘yep,’ do we like it? ‘That’s good,’ move on.”

Neil continued: “I had a picture taken, I loved it and thought it looked really good, waited and the picture went official.

“The moment it went on all the websites I took a look at it, and I was like ‘Who is that?’ I was devastated by what I saw.”

He added: “I know I’m older, I know I’m 42 but also what was happening that year, my beautiful fiance Chyna was expecting a child, our little Havana.

“I was busy, I was working a lot, travelling a lot, I was tired, I wasn’t getting much sleep and I don’t think I was eating the best.”

Revealing the photo, Neil shook his head in disappointment and stated: “You see what I mean, that’s me.”

“So I’m making changes at the moment, I’m going for the 75 hard. I’m coming on here and telling you all about it because I want you to hold me accountable for it.”

The dancer detailed: “I’m going for three litres of water a day, no sugar in my diet, I am doing two forms of exercise a day, one outside and one indoors.

“These are 45 minutes each time and I’m going to try and sleep eight hours a day. This is what I’m doing, plus on top of that just as an extra thing, I’m reading 10 pages of a book.

Neil instructed his fans: “I want you to hold me accountable for this as much as possible.

“If I fail on one day, I start from the beginning until I hit those 75 and hopefully, after those 75 days you will see a massive difference in me and I’m not just talking about how I look, but as a person.”
