Actor Saif Ali Khan’s injury has sent shockwaves in the film industry. The actor got stabbed by alleged burglars who barged into his house in the wee hours of Thursday. As per the reports, Saif tried to protect his family and had a scuffle with burglars without any weapon, in which he got stabbed by a knife six times. 

Soon after the incident, Saif was taken to Lilavati Hospital, and he underwent surgery. Dr Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital said that Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by an unidentified person at his Bandra home and was brought in at 3.30 am. He further added that Saif suffered six stabs, two of which were deep. One is close to the spine. He was being operated upon by a team of doctors, led by Neurosurgeon Dr Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr Leena Jain, and anesthesiologist Dr Nisha Gandhi.
