Manisha Koirala opened up about her love life and discussed if she missed having a partner in her life.

Manisha Koirala opened up about being single at 54 and missing a partner in her life. While speaking to Pinkvilla, Manisha was asked if she thinks that her life is incomplete without having that special person in her life.

The Gupt actress said, “Who said I don’t have one?” followed by a carefree laugh. Manisha further explained her perspective, saying, “Yes and no, because I have made peace with who I am and the life that I have. If a companion has to walk into my life, I don’t want to compromise and let go of the quality of life that I have. If the companion can add to it and walk alongside, I am more than happy. But I don’t want to change what I have right now.”

Manisha said that if a companion has to happen, it will happen. It will be in tandem with each other rather than her trying to discover a companion because her life is full. Manisha highlighted her fulfilment and freedom, stating, “I am leading a great quality of life and I just hope it continues. The sense of choice, freedom, and fulfilment that I get, I wish to continue that.”

Manisha made her Bollywood debut with Saudagar and went on to earn fans and praises for her performances in films such as 1942: A Love Story, Bombay, Agni Sakshi, Indian, Dil Se, Kartoos, and Sanju. In 2024, Manisha made her OTT debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.

Apart from films, Manisha is also a cancer survivor, inspiring many with her courage and resilience. In 2012, Manisha was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. However, she emerged victorious after a gruelling battle.
