Indian talent and content management company Tulsea has expanded its roster with several significant signings, including Anasuya Sengupta, who made history as the first Indian actor to win the best actress award at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard category for “The Shameless,” directed by Konstantin Bojanov.

Rising star Sindhu Sreenivasa Murthy, recently named a BAFTA Breakthrough Artist for 2024, joins the agency following her breakout directing and acting turn in the Kannada-language “Aachar & Co.” Murthy has previously appeared in Netflix’s “Brahman Naman” and “Better Life Foundation.”

The new roster additions include Ahilya Bamroo, who recently debuted opposite Abhishek Bachchan in Shoojit Sircar’s “I Want to Talk,” and British actor Daniel Caltagirone, who played the antagonist in Pa Ranjith’s Tamil-language action film “Thangalan.” Both Bamroo and Caltagirone are co-represented with Independent Talent Agency (U.K.).

Anjum Batra, who appeared in Imtiaz Ali’s Netflix film “Amar Singh Chamkila” and Netflix series “Mamla Legal Hai,” has also joined the agency. Batra’s credits include “Dev D,” “83,” and “Jersey.”

Tulsea partner and co-founder Chaitanya Hegde said, “At Tulsea, we are drawn to actors who stand out with a distinct identity and whose talent shines brighter than the noise around them. In a world often consumed by excessive selling and superficiality, it’s invigorating to work with performers who prioritize their craft and embody exceptional work ethic. These are actors who are artists first, driven by passion and authenticity. We’re thrilled to welcome this phenomenal group of actors to our roster and look forward to being a part of their remarkable journeys.”

The company’s existing roster includes Shefali Shah (“Delhi Crime”), Neeraj Kabi (“Sacred Games”), Neil Bhoopalam (“NH10”), and Danesh Razvi (“A Suitable Boy”), Karan Pandit (“The Hungry”), Guneet Singh Sodhi (“Laal Singh Chaddha”) and Sanghmitra Hitaishi (“Dahaad”).

Established a decade ago, Tulsea represents talent across various creative fields, including writers, directors, cinematographers, composers, editors, producers, costume designers, video game developers, and hair & makeup artists.
